National Construction Industry Association Secretary General Work Conference Held in Beijing

On May 8th, the China Construction Industry Association held a seminar on building industry reform and development for the construction industry association in Beijing and the secretary general of the National Construction Industry Association. Wang Tiexhong, president of China Construction Industry Association, Wu Huijuan, vice president, vice president and secretary-general Liu Jinzhang, and vice president Han Ping attended the meeting. The meeting specially invited the researcher Liu Yuenan of the Social Organization Administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to conduct an in-depth interpretation of the real problems and related policies faced by the reform and development of industry associations in the new period. Fujian Construction Industry Association, Inner Mongolia Construction Industry Association, China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association, and China Construction Third Bureau exchange experience. 17 associations such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei spoke on the initiative of social organizations to help enterprises reform and develop, establish up and down linkage mechanisms to provide better services for enterprises, and focus on the work of the association in 2019.

President Wang Tiehong summarized the main work completed by the China Construction Industry Association in 2018 and informed the working ideas of the association in 2019. In 2019, the China Construction Industry Association should combine the “Great Learning, Deep Research, and Real Implementation” activities proposed by the Party Group of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, focusing on six aspects: First, vigorously carry out quality and safety activities to promote high-quality development of the industry; The second is to increase the intensity of science and technology promotion, and guide enterprises to implement innovation-driven strategies; the third is to strengthen credit evaluation work and promote the construction of industry credit system; the fourth is to conduct in-depth investigation and research to strengthen industry statistical analysis; the fifth is to build an industry exchange platform and deepen the practice. The “One Belt and One Road” initiative; the sixth is to strengthen the association's own construction and continuously improve the quality and level of service. He hopes that industry associations can strengthen linkages, identify needs and work together to contribute to the reform and development of the construction industry.
